Changing my former scathing (one star) review to four star. I'm thinking five star in my heart because I get the feeling my husband's counselor and staff doctor are giving him special attention, probably because he's so lovable. The facility itself is quite depressing looking so can't help but remove a star as the attendees must feel saddened and vulnerable to begin with. I've been panicked and hysterical since DH's hospitalization for psychotic disorder months ago, which ultimately led to his job demanding medical records which reflected drug use and so he was forced to come here or lose his job. I was angry, scared, confused, inexperienced and distrustful of this place but so far they have given him so much care and availability of services I don't know how the heck I could have managed that on my own as his partner. And that's even after I've been difficult with clinician's since his start date. When DH finishes this program and gets back on the job I believe the Bridge Back will be my most valuable source for finding a long term care psychiatrist for his medication management. Oh btw the talk therapy counselor DH has is tops! Very intelligent, patient, respectful young man. We got lucky indeed.
