I can not say enough good things about my sons change. He has grown so much. His councilor emails me right back and my son loves him. My son gets out April 1, 2016 and I will report back as time goes on so I can give a more thorough report. I’ve worked at Discovery Institute for over 3 months now and have seen nothing but amazing results! It’s an absolute joy to see the light of hope return to someone’s eyes after a few days, the staff bends over backwards to attend to the clients needs and is always around if a client needs anything, even if it means working a few extra hours or checking in on clients on their days off. I’ve seen many success stories in the short time I’ve worked for this Institute and look forward to seeing many more!!

The admissions staff at Discovery Institute works hard to make every client feel comfortable. I will say that there is nothing that will not be done to make the clients feel comfortable and safe within reason. Most of the time the Admissions staff are the first people that the clients get to sit down and have very personal and private conversations with. Every effort is made to let them know that they are there for them. Great job Admissions Staff.

I have worked at Discovery for 15 years. I have seen so many success stories. Some of our success stories now work there! It feels good to know that I work with such dedicated people. I was told by Jill and Jimmy in 2003 when I started working there, that “Discovery Saves Lives”. Truer words were never spoken.

I was Discovery in 97, Jimmy Dorchy was 1 of the counselors. It was a therapeutic Community, 3 phases & the clients ran the house. We did pullups on eachother.I went from a Guru to Chief of he house. Back then I loved it!! I dropped all my luggage in group & got feedback. It was on State grounds then. My favorite & most helpful group was like a confrontion , someone would tell you your faults, & you couldnt respond. We had free time, handball etc on weekends, & the gym was up to Jimmy during the week. I went in at 6ft 160lbs & graduated 213lbs..SAVED MY LIFE!!!!

The owner Nick is the most caring person Sean and Jessica are truly people who care about their clients I can't say enough about Nick Boatman and Sean and Jessica I am the parent of a son who is (was addicted) to opiates He's been all over the country and outside to the top luxury treatment centers and at Discovery they taught him how to deal with his emotions and life He had a slip two days ago and because of Discovery He came to me this morning and spoke to Jess Usaully he wouldn't find recovery again till he lost everything He has a great job his family back and because of Nick Sean and Jess he realized how to get back on track Thank you Nick Sean and Jess for your try caring of people You did something no one else could You taught my son to be honest and to say something is bigger then him and He Doesn't have it under control..... You gave me back my son I am forever GREATFUL Laurie Ruccatano

Awesome staff, this place has really done an amazing job!

Not even Columbus could have made this a better "Discovery". The staff at this institution are dedicated to their job and knowledgeable about the science of addiction. If you are serious about recovery, this is the place for you. Special thanks to my counselor Kevin for helping me find myself in recovery. Shout outs to Katie, Tracy, and Carolyn for all the advice in small groups. Thanks to Robert for the tough love! Thank you Erica for reminding me that I can still enjoy my time while being sober. Thanks a lot to Mrs. Keen for the breathing techniques, the packets and worksheets. If anyone wants to get clean, this is the place to go. It truly works if you work it.
